How do you encrypt CA Clarity Password's in Properties.xml file?

All the Clarity System Administration properties are stored in properties.xml file under
%CLARITY_HOME%\config directory.

You can update directly in the properties.xml file for the parameters that you want  to update in CSA.

Most important thing here is all the passwords are stored in the properties.xml is a plain text and it is not encrypted any one has access to properties.xml file  can see the passwords if the "No Encryption" option is selected under the "Encryption" section in CSA Security link.

Select the "Encrypt Passwords" as "Using System Key" option to encrypt the passwords in properties.xml file.

Restart of Clarity app and bg services would required for any updates made in Clarity System Administration side.
